Whanganui’s second annual Santa Run captivated a throng of around a hundred jaunty Santa Clauses.

“Kidscan is ancillary impecunious kids locally, we have got some schools that they support locally here,” pronounced Jodie Brunger, one of a event’s organisers.

While some fundraisers are about offered chocolate – this one is kinder to a waistline. Participants run, walk, and circle around Virginia Lake, a renouned using lane for locals.

The Santa Run is not usually a Whanganui eventuality – a staged in 19 centres around a country, with over 5000 people holding part.
