Escaped horses run furious on California highway during morning rush

March 27 (UPI) — The California Highway Patrol pronounced morning trade on Interstate 680 in Walnut Creek strike a obstacle when dual lax horses were speckled “violating a carpool lane.”
The CHP’s Contra Costa hire pronounced in a Facebook post callers reported a horses using lax in Alamo about 7:25 a.m. Monday.
“The horses evaded responding CHP units for approximately 20 mins on city streets before creation their approach onto Interstate 680,” a post said.
Shocked commuters captured video of a horses weaving by traffic, that slowed in a northbound lanes to concede a animals to pass unharmed.
“In a collaborative bid with CHP units, Walnut Creek Police, and Contra Costa County Animal Control a horses were corralled during approximately 8:30 am. Animal Control safely returned a horses to their owner,” a Facebook post said.
The highway was sealed for about 15 mins while Animal Control officers retrieved a equines.
The CHP joked on Twitter a horses were held “violating a carpool lane.”
